FEMA - Fundação Educacional do Município de Assis is a public university located in the city of Assis, state of São Paulo, Brazil.
The university currently has 2,000 students, and offers 11 courses: Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Chemistry, Journalism, Law, Marketing, Mathematics, Nursing, Photography, and System Analysis.
FEMA is participating in the program "Science Without Borders". This program is part of the Brazilian government's larger initiative to grant scholarships for the best students from Brazil to study abroad at the world’s best universities. This program provides scholarships to undergraduate students from Brazil for one semester or one year of study at colleges and universities abroad (SWG). Scholarships will be given primarily to students in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Students in the program will return to Brazil to complete their degrees.
